Best towns to reside in for location – independent personal view of internet entrepreneur
As a position unaligned internet entrepreneur, I can reside where ever I desire. One option is to roam round, moving from position every other week or so. This has a lot of joy and I get to glimpse a lot of our attractive planet this way.
Howerver, it’s though to get work finished when certainly on the move. And occasionally, I just seem like having a dwelling groundwork for a few months. Sleep in the identical bed, make some local connections and actually get to understand a certain place. But where? What are good cities to camp out for a while? I’ve thought about this for a long time and I’ve come up with a number of criteria :
- Internet speed – I need a fast connection
- Cost of living – I rather spend less than more money
- Climate – I prefer weather in the 20-30 Celsius range and mostly sunny
- Safety – I value my life and I also carry just about everything i own so rathet not have in stolen
- Health care – In case something does happen
- Pollution – It’s nice to have some fresh air
I inquired young internet entrepreneurs what are their favorite cities to setup business. Based on their responses, I’ve chosen six towns : Bangkok and Shanghai (Asia), Medellin and Buenos Aires (South America), Vilnius and Budapest (Europe).I ranked these towns based on the components mentioned overhead. I’ve granted some components more weight than other ones, to contemplate my individual preferences. Here are the outcome :The winner is VILNIUS – capital of Lithuania.
This might surprise you! The biggest part of people never heard about this city which is a capital of Lithuania. Lithuania is often called a Baltic Tiger for it’s rapid economic development in the first decade of 21st century.
Why Vilnius? vilnius has the world’s 10th fastest internet topping all US cities. The city sees very little pollution, cost of living is low and it is a safe place. The biggest drawback is the climate.From November to April temperature is around or little bit below zero. The summers are warm and dry, sometimes hot.
I used my personal preferences in ranking the cities. Personally for me cost of living, climate and internet speedare the most important factors. Other people certainly might have a different opinion.
