How temporary residence permit is issued? What is the procedure after the decision is issued?
After positive decision taken by the migration department an alien should apply at the nearest that country embassy to get a short term national type D visa on the basis of TRP approval within several weeks. Positive decision is valid for three months only, if foreigner doesn’t come in three months period to collect his own residence permit card, the decision expires and foreigner would need to reapply for residence permit.
An alien immediately has to arrive to destination country, go to Migration Office or Department to apply for a temporary residence card. Within 5-7 working days, temporary residence card is made and issued for up to two years. We want to remind you that your presence in that country must be legal and on time.
